Dr Karina Wahl PD

Federally recognised psychotherapist / chartered clinical psychologist

Psychologist FSP

I work as a chartered clinical psychologist with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy.

My services are aimed at adults experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, depressive moods, crisis situations, stress or overwhelm, as well as burnout.

After graduating from the University of Marburg, I worked at the University of Oxford, Department of Psychiatry and at King’s College London where I specialised in anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders. I have continued to combine my interests in research and therapy in a range of academic and clinical settings. As a federally licensed psychological psychotherapist, my approach is scientifically based using cognitive behaviour therapy.

Since 2015, I have been working in Basel, where I also live with my family.

I aim to support you to make clear, realistic and sustainable changes in a warm, friendly and collaborative way.
